The Tick Check Challenge

In 2020, teams competed in the Educate & Elevate Hackathon to create solutions to improve tick-borne illness awareness and prevention. Winning teams received grants and inclusion in Invisible’s Innovation Incubator. The #tickcheckchallenge grew out of one of the hackathon teams, spearheaded by PA Lyme and Louis & Dan and the Invisible Band.
Now, it’s your turn to participate! You, your family, and your community can take the challenge. Listen to the song, learn the dance, and post your interpretation on social media! The dance is head-shoulders-knees-&-toes reimagined for tick-borne illness prevention. It’s fun, energizing & teaches children & everyone who is young at heart how to check for ticks!
